Dominant groups
Analysis of the Spanish speaking population in Bayside Council in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a lower proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a lower proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 9.6% of the Spanish speaking population was aged between 0 and 14, and 17.5% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 12.4% and 18.3% respectively for Greater Sydney.
