Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Huntly in 2021 compared to the City of Greater Bendigo shows that 92.6% of the households owned at least one car, while 0.8% did not, compared with 89.8% and 4.8% respectively in the City of Greater Bendigo.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 22.6% of the households owned one car; 41.5% owned two cars; and 28.5% owned three cars or more, compared with 32.7%; 36.3% and 20.8% respectively for the City of Greater Bendigo.
