In 2021, there were more males working as technicians and trades workers in the City of Greater Bendigo than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Greater Bendigo in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (6,555 people or 23.2%)
  • Professionals (4,526 people or 16.0%)
  • Labourers (4,101 people or 14.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 15,182 people in total or 53.8% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, City of Greater Bendigo - Total population employed 13.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 21.4% in Professionals; and 11.6% in Labourers.
