Dominant groups

Analysis of the family blending in Blacktown in 2021 compared to Ward 1 shows that there was a similar proportion of step families as well as a similar proportion of blended families. Overall, 6.4% of total couple families with children were step families, and 2.5% were blended families, compared with 6.0% and 2.2% respectively for Ward 1.
