Dominant groups
Analysis of the household/family types in Dharruk in 2021 compared to Ward 5 shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 35.4% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 18.0% were one-parent families, compared with 40.9% and 16.9% respectively for Ward 5.
