An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in The Ponds in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (592 males or 14.5%)
- Financial and Insurance Services (465 males or 11.4%)
- Construction (364 males or 8.9%)
In combination, these three industries employed 1,421 males in total or 34.7% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, Glendenning employed 4.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 3.9% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 10.7% in Construction.
