Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Toongabbie in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (140 males or 12.1%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (116 males or 10.0%)
  • Retail Trade (101 males or 8.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 357 males in total or 30.8% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, WSROC Region employed 13.5% in Construction; 9.9% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 8.7% in Retail Trade.
