Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Mount Druitt Precinct in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Transport, Postal and Warehousing (3,311 males or 14.3%)
- Manufacturing (2,883 males or 12.5%)
- Construction (2,580 males or 11.2%)
In combination, these three industries employed 8,774 males in total or 37.9% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, WSROC Region employed 9.9% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; 9.4% in Manufacturing; and 13.5% in Construction.
