Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Mount Druitt Precinct in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (5,101 females or 25.2%)
- Retail Trade (2,616 females or 12.9%)
- Education and Training (1,861 females or 9.2%)
In combination, these three industries employed 9,578 females in total or 47.2% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, WSROC Region employed 22.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.7% in Retail Trade; and 12.2% in Education and Training.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Mount Druitt Precinct and WSROC Region were:
