Dominant groups

Analysis of the non-English speaking population in Blacktown City Council in 2021 compared to the total population in Blacktown City Council shows that there was a lower proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a similar proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 18.7% of the non-English speaking population was aged between 0 and 14, and 10.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 22.7% and 11.0% respectively for the total population in Blacktown City Council.
