Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the Languages of the Philippines speaking resident population in Blacktown City in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (3,793 people or 26.1%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (2,413 people or 16.6%)
- Labourers (1,718 people or 11.8%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 7,924 people in total or 54.5% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Greater Sydney employed 29.5% in Professionals; 15.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 11.0% in Labourers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the Languages of the Philippines speaking population of Blacktown City and Greater Sydney were:
- A larger percentage of people employed as Machinery Operators And Drivers (11.4% compared to 8.1%)
