Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Whalan in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (181 females or 23.6%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (131 females or 17.1%)
  • Sales Workers (107 females or 14.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 419 females in total or 54.7% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, WSROC Region employed 22.6% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 15.2% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 9.8% in Sales Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Whalan and WSROC Region were:
