Analysis of the housing tenure of households of Blacktown in 2021 compared to Riverstone Precinct shows that there was a larger proportion of households who owned their dwelling; a smaller proportion purchasing their dwelling; and a larger proportion who were renters.

Overall, 20.4% of households owned their dwelling; 30.0% were purchasing, and 41.1% were renting, compared with 15.7%, 52.1% and 27.5% respectively for Riverstone Precinct.
