Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 274 males who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Seven Hills, compared with 2,187 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the male residents in Seven Hills in 2021, compared to WSROC Region, shows that 5.8% used public transport, while 44.6% used a private vehicle, compared with 4.8% and 48.2% respectively in WSROC Region.
The major differences in males between the method of travel to work of Seven Hills and WSROC Region were:
- A larger percentage of males who worked at home (29.9% compared to 28.0%)
- A larger percentage of males who did not go to work (15.3% compared to 13.8%)
- A smaller percentage of males who travelled by car (as driver) (42.6% compared to 45.9%)
