Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 1,708 males who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Blacktown Precinct, compared with 16,620 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the male residents in Blacktown Precinct in 2021, compared to Blacktown City, shows that 5.3% used public transport, while 49.7% used a private vehicle, compared with 4.9% and 47.4% respectively in Blacktown City.
The major differences in males between the method of travel to work of Blacktown Precinct and Blacktown City were:
