Analysis of the unpaid child care provided by the female population in Mount Druitt Precinct in 2021 compared to WSROC Region shows that there was a similar proportion of females who provided unpaid child care either to their own or to other children. Overall, 29.2% of the female population provided unpaid child care, compared with 28.9% for WSROC Region.
The major difference between the share of the female population providing unpaid child care in Mount Druitt Precinct and WSROC Region was:
- A smaller percentage who did not provide care for children (62.7% compared to 64.8%)
