The small section of Rural Residential is bounded by Liverpool City, Denham Court Road and Campbelltown Road in the north, Zouch Road and the Hume Highway in the east, the suburbs of Raby and Kearns in the south, and the Camden Council area in the west. The large section of Rural Residential is bounded by the Hume Highway, the suburbs of Glen Alpine, Rosemeadow and St Helens Park, the Georges River, the suburbs of Airds, Ruse, Leumeah, Minto and Ingleburn and Liverpool City in the north, Williams Creek, Sutherland Shire, the Woronora River and Wollongong City in the east, Wollondilly Shire in the south, and the Nepean River, the Camden Council area and Narellan Road in the west.
