Dominant groups

Analysis of the family blending in Ruse in 2021 compared to Bradbury shows that there was a similar proportion of step families as well as a similar proportion of blended families. Overall, 9.7% of total couple families with children were step families, and 5.8% were blended families, compared with 10.2% and 5.1% respectively for Bradbury.

There were a higher proportion of other families and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of other families was 1.8% compared to 0.7% in Bradbury while the proportion of intact families was 82.7% compared to 83.9% in Bradbury.
