Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Glen Alpine in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (174 males or 14.8%)
  • Manufacturing (116 males or 9.9%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (115 males or 9.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 405 males in total or 34.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Rosemeadow employed 13.9% in Construction; 14.2% in Manufacturing; and 12.5% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Glen Alpine and Rosemeadow were:
