Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Leumeah in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (469 females or 25.4%)
  • Retail Trade (239 females or 13.0%)
  • Education and Training (222 females or 12.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 930 females in total or 50.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, New South Wales employed 22.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.3% in Retail Trade; and 13.1% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Leumeah and New South Wales were:
