Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Claymore in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (91 females or 29.4%)
  • Retail Trade (52 females or 16.8%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (29 females or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 172 females in total or 55.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Campbelltown City employed 26.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.0% in Retail Trade; and 6.1% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Claymore and Campbelltown City were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in retail trade (16.8% compared to 12.0%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (29.4% compared to 26.1%)
