Occupation of employment
There were more clerical and administrative workers in Ruse in 2016 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Ruse in 2016 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (512 people or 18.8%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (434 people or 16.0%)
- Professionals (372 people or 13.7%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,318 people in total or 48.4% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Minto employed 14.3% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 12.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 14.2% in Professionals.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Ruse and Minto were:
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (18.8% compared to 14.3%)
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (16.0% compared to 12.9%)
- A smaller percentage of persons employed as Machinery Operators And Drivers (11.4% compared to 14.8%)
- A smaller percentage of persons employed as Labourers (9.5% compared to 12.3%)
