There were more female clerical and administrative workers in Ruse in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Ruse in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (312 females or 25.8%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (246 females or 20.3%)
  • Professionals (241 females or 19.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 799 females in total or 66.1% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, New South Wales employed 20.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 15.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 29.5% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Ruse and New South Wales were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (25.8% compared to 20.1%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (20.3% compared to 15.4%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed as Professionals (19.9% compared to 29.5%)
