There were more male technicians and trades workers in Ruse in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Ruse in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (278 males or 22.4%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (244 males or 19.7%)
  • Labourers (181 males or 14.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 703 males in total or 56.7% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Campbelltown City employed 19.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 18.2% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 12.4% in Labourers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Ruse and Campbelltown City were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (22.4% compared to 19.7%)
  • A larger percentage of males employed as Labourers (14.6% compared to 12.4%)
