Dominant groups
Analysis of the ancestry responses of the population in Fairfield East in 2016 shows that the top five ancestries nominated were:
- Vietnamese (1,302 people or 24.4%)
- Chinese (676 people or 12.7%)
- Australian (490 people or 9.2%)
- Lebanese (478 people or 9.0%)
- English (412 people or 7.7%)
In combination these five ancestries account for 3,358 responses in total, or 62.93% of all responses.
The major differences between the ancestries of the population in Fairfield East and Mount Pritchard were:
