Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Mulwala in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (126 males or 24.6%)
  • Manufacturing (87 males or 17.0%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (44 males or 8.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 257 males in total or 50.2% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Federation Council area employed 15.2% in Construction; 18.1% in Manufacturing; and 17.2% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Mulwala and Federation Council area were:
