Dominant groups
Analysis of the family blending in Leichhardt in 2021 compared to Marrickville Ward shows that there was a similar proportion of step families as well as a similar proportion of blended families. Overall, 6.3% of total couple families with children were step families, and 2.3% were blended families, compared with 6.0% and 1.7% respectively for Marrickville Ward.
