Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Rozelle in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (494 males or 20.6%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (279 males or 11.6%)
  • Construction (273 males or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,046 males in total or 43.6% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Inner West Council area employed 16.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 8.7% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 8.9% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Rozelle and Inner West Council area were:
