Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Camperdown in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (215 females or 20.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (174 females or 16.4%)
  • Education and Training (151 females or 14.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 540 females in total or 51.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Inner West Council area employed 17.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 13.7% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Camperdown and Inner West Council area were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (20.3% compared to 17.7%)
