Dominant groups

Analysis of the country of birth of the Portuguese speaking population in the Inner West Council in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a smaller proportion of people born overseas.

Overall, 79.8% of the Portuguese speaking population was born overseas, compared with 80.5% for Greater Sydney.

The major differences between the countries of birth of the Portuguese speaking population in Inner West Council area and Greater Sydney were:
