Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Lindfield in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (548 males or 20.8%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (390 males or 14.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (224 males or 8.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,162 males in total or 44.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Ku-ring-gai Council area employed 20.2% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 13.4% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 8.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Lindfield and Ku-ring-gai Council area were:
