Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Pymble in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (628 males or 21.3%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (409 males or 13.9%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (286 males or 9.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,323 males in total or 44.9% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Ku-ring-gai Council area employed 20.2% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 13.4% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 8.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Pymble and Ku-ring-gai Council area were:
