Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 16 males who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in St Ives Chase, compared with 215 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the male residents in St Ives Chase in 2021, compared to Ku-ring-gai Council area, shows that 2.1% used public transport, while 27.4% used a private vehicle, compared with 3.7% and 28.9% respectively in Ku-ring-gai Council area.
The major differences in males between the method of travel to work of St Ives Chase and Ku-ring-gai Council area were:
