Analysis of the language spoken at home by people aged 55 to 64 years in the MidCoast Council in 2021 compared to Mid North Coast SA4 shows that there was a similar proportion of people who spoke English only, as well as a similar proportion of those speaking a non-English language (either exclusively, or in addition to English).
Overall, 92.1% of people aged 55 to 64 years spoke English only, and 2.2% of% spoke a non-English language, compared with 92.1% and 2.4% respectively for Mid North Coast SA4.
