Non-English speakers - Housing tenure
In the MidCoast Council area, 60.0% of [Toggles].[COIIDDisplayLabel] speakers were in households who were purchasing or fully owned their home, 33.6% were renting privately, and 1.3% were in social housing in 2021.

Analysis of the housing tenure of [Toggles].[COIIDDisplayLabel] speakers in the MidCoast Council area in 2021 compared to Australia shows that there was a larger proportion of [Toggles].[COIIDDisplayLabel] speakers in households who owned their dwelling; a smaller proportion purchasing their dwelling; and a smaller proportion who were renters.
Overall, 31.9% of [Toggles].[COIIDDisplayLabel] speakers were in households who owned their dwelling; 28.1% were purchasing, and 35.0% were renting, compared with 20.4%, 41.3% and 35.9% respectively for Australia.
