Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Gloucester and surrounds in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Community and Personal Service Workers (202 females or 21.4%)
  • Professionals (162 females or 17.1%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (158 females or 16.7%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 522 females in total or 55.2% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, MidCoast Council area employed 22.2% in Community and Personal Service Workers; 21.5% in Professionals; and 17.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
