Dominant groups

Analysis of the males in the MidCoast Council in 2021 compared to MidCoast Council area - Total population shows that there was a similar proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) as well as a similar proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 15.2% of the males were aged between 0 and 14, and 33.0% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 14.6% and 33.2% respectively for MidCoast Council area - Total population.
