Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Broadford area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (256 females or 22.5%)
  • Retail Trade (128 females or 11.3%)
  • Education and Training (128 females or 11.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 512 females in total or 45.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Beveridge employed 24.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.0% in Retail Trade; and 12.4% in Education and Training.
