Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Rural North East in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (99 females or 22.4%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (83 females or 18.8%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (81 females or 18.3%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 263 females in total or 59.5% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Mitchell Shire employed 18.7% in Professionals; 21.7% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 20.0% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
