Analysis of the household/family types of people aged 18 to 24 years in Nillumbik Shire in 2021 compared to Wyndham City, shows that there was a higher proportion of people aged 18 to 24 years in couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion in one-parent families. Overall, 75.1% of people aged 18 to 24 years were in couple families with child(ren), and 16.1% were in one-parent families, compared with 51.1% and 18.1% respectively for Wyndham City.
