Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Eltham in 2021 compared to Interface councils shows that 95.4% of the households owned at least one car, while 2.2% did not, compared with 91.6% and 3.3% respectively in Interface councils.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 27.0% of the households owned one car; 44.6% owned two cars; and 23.8% owned three cars or more, compared with 29.1%; 40.6% and 21.9% respectively for Interface councils.
