Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in St Andrews District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (158 people or 21.3%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (88 people or 11.9%)
  • Education and Training (67 people or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 313 people in total or 42.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Eltham - South employed 10.2% in Construction; 16.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 11.8% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of the St Andrews District and Eltham - South were:
