Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in North Warrandyte in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (232 people or 14.2%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (207 people or 12.7%)
  • Construction (182 people or 11.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 621 people in total or 38.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Kangaroo Ground employed 10.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.5% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 16.0% in Construction.
