Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Hurstbridge in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (288 males or 29.7%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (73 males or 7.5%)
  • Manufacturing (72 males or 7.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 433 males in total or 44.6% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Nillumbik Shire employed 23.2% in Construction; 6.2% in Public Administration and Safety; and 8.1% in Manufacturing.
