Ancestry
The three largest ancestries in Davidson in 2016 were English, Australian and Irish.

Dominant groups
Analysis of the ancestry responses of the population in Davidson in 2016 shows that the top five ancestries nominated were:
- English (1,273 people or 44.9%)
- Australian (955 people or 33.7%)
- Irish (363 people or 12.8%)
- Scottish (303 people or 10.7%)
- Chinese (109 people or 3.8%)
In combination these five ancestries account for 3,003 responses in total, or 105.85% of all responses.
The major differences between the ancestries of the population in Davidson and Narraweena were:
