Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Beacon Hill in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (315 males or 15.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (259 males or 12.6%)
  • Retail Trade (198 males or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 772 males in total or 37.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 15.7% in Construction; 15.2% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 7.7% in Retail Trade.
