Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Bilgola in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (155 males or 15.6%)
  • Construction (152 males or 15.3%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (74 males or 7.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 381 males in total or 38.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 15.2% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 15.7% in Construction; and 8.3% in Financial and Insurance Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Bilgola and Northern Beaches Council area were:
