Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Beacon Hill in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (386 females or 19.1%)
  • Education and Training (279 females or 13.8%)
  • Retail Trade (227 females or 11.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 892 females in total or 44.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 19.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.1% in Education and Training; and 9.4% in Retail Trade.
