Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Elanora Heights in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (229 females or 19.5%)
  • Education and Training (183 females or 15.5%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (155 females or 13.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 567 females in total or 48.2% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 19.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.1% in Education and Training; and 13.4% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Elanora Heights and Northern Beaches Council area were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in education and training (15.5% compared to 13.1%)
