Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Ingleside in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (35 females or 15.7%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (33 females or 14.8%)
  • Education and Training (32 females or 14.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 100 females in total or 44.8% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 19.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.4% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 13.1% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Ingleside and Northern Beaches Council area were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in construction (9.0% compared to 3.0%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed in other services (8.1% compared to 3.6%)
